A kind-hearted volunteer from Orphan Pet Greece came across Blossom on the streets of Athens, in a condition that was truly distressing.
Blossom had an unfortunate encounter with numerous ticks that drained her of blood and caused her to become severely underweight and anemic.
Blossom’s ears drooped due to the presence of ticks all over her body, and it required a great deal of effort to remove them one by one.
The vet had to take off the chain around Blossom’s tail because it was causing a lack of blood flow.
Blossom, a dog, had to undergo a blood transfusion due to her severe anemia caused by the ticks infesting her fur. However, after receiving the necessary medical attention and having the ticks removed, Blossom is now living a comfortable life in her new and caring home.
Blossom has fully recovered and is now tick-free after being infested by thousands of them, which nearly led to her demise.
After making a remarkable comeback, the furry pet is now able to frolic and interact with other dogs once more.
Blossom, who was previously in good health, has now discovered the joy of bonding and interacting with other canines. Additionally, she has found a new place to call home.
