The owner brought her down to lay down, but her purple fur hides a dark story behind it.

When Dr. Kari, an experienced veterinarian at the “Vet Ranch” animal clinic, came across Violet, a small puppy with multiple bite marks and purple fur, she was completely terrified. According to Violet’s owner, a larger dog had mauled Violet when she surrendered him for euthanasia.

It is believed that many bait dogs were dyed purple before being used to train combat canines. According to the owner of a dog named Violet, the purple fur was caused by a purple wound spray that was applied to her soon after she was mauled. However, despite the treatment, Violet’s wounds continued to worsen due to medical neglect, bringing her closer to death.

In this enlightening video, Dr. Karri takes us through the rigorous medical care of Violet. Violet is undergoing a difficult healing process as various infections and abscesses are being treated by the veterinarian using potent painkillers and medications. After 12 days of careful monitoring, Violet has finally emerged from the septic stage! Initially dejected and forlorn, Violet’s joyful run at the end makes the whole experience more pleasant. When she is in Dr. Karri’s arms, she can hardly control the grins of gratitude!

As soon as Violet made a full recovery, she found herself a new home with her adoptive mother Kelly and her Jack Russell dog sibling, Peanut who is identical in size. I am grateful to Dr. Karri for making Violet’s life more bearable. The video below demonstrates how amazing of a miracle worker Dr. Karri is for Violet!
